The memorial graveside service for Ronald James Ross will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 21, at Rock Point Cemetery in Gold Hill. Mr. Bob Galinski of Rogue River and the Marine Corps League, will officiate.

Mr. Ross, 57, of Riddle, formerly of Gold Hill, died Friday, April 14, 2006. He was born June 20, 1948 in Springfield, Ohio. On May 1, 2005 in Jackson Co., Ore., he married Glenda L. Tracer, who survives.

He had lived in Gold Hill for over 20 years before moving to Riddle, Ore. — years ago. He had served in the US Marine Corps during Vietnam.

Mr. Ross was a log truck driver for Estremado Logging Co. for over 25 years. He enjoyed trucks and truck driving.

Survivors include: his wife, Glenda L. Ross of Riddle; two daughters, Teresa Martin, Albany, Ore., Robin Haynes, Rogue River; a son, John Ross, Silverton, Ore.; three step-children, Carrie Nicholson, Grants Pass; Gary Paul Whisenant, Widbey Island, Wash.; John Nicholson, Central Point; two brothers, Terry Ross, Brush Prairie, Wash.; Gary Ross, Wash.; four sisters, Helen Jackson, Brush Prairie, Wash.; Marilyn Boteilho, Vancouver, Wash.; Carol Ross, Camas, Wash.; Connie Frieden, Oregon City, Ore.; and 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Ross.
