Nina Bunnell passed away on April 6, 2006 in Salem, Ore.
She was born to Arthur and Helen L. Kimble Kroening on January 11, 1919 in Bandon, Ore. She attended school in Bandon and graduated from Marshfield High in Coos Bay. Nina was a long time resident of Medford. Her career included McDonald Candy Co., Burrelson's Ladies' Wear, and Crater Lake Motors. After retiring, Nina decided to become a CNA and worked for a rehab nursing home.
Mrs.. Bunnell was a charter member of Beta Sigma Phi, Zeta Master, weekly bridge group and a Saturday Secretary lunch group.
Nina did extensive world and U.S. traveling with friends. Mrs. Bunnell enjoyed canning, cooking and entertaining her family and friends.
Nina was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; sister, Georgia; and brother, Jack Kroening.
She is survived by her sister, Darlene Clegg, and husband Bill of Fernley, Nevada; cousins, Ruth Helen of Salem, Marjorie of Tucson,Arizona, Bob Kimble of Quincy, Calif., and nieces and nephews. Per her request, there will be no services. She will be missed. Donations may be made to the Lymphoma Foundation.
