Frances E. Jolliffe

Frances Elizabeth Jolliffe, 92, of Medford, died May 10, 2006. She was born September 29, 1913 in Aberdeen, Wash. to Harry W. Gibson and Elizabeth M. (Gradl) Gibson.

Frances married Willard (Shorty) Jolliffe on February 27, 1932 in Aberdeen, Wash. She was a housewife and operated "Shorty's" Tavern on Highway 62. Her interests were cooking for family and friends, designing birthday and wedding cakes, sewing, knitting, crocheting, arts & crafts and gardening and caring for children.

She is survived by her sons, Donald C. and Lawrence M. Jolliffe; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard (Shorty) Jolliffe on May 18, 1992; son, Lee Jolliffe on May 17, 1959; brothers, Walt and Don Gibson; and sister, Harriet Marie Carossino.

A chapel and graveside service will be held Thursday, May 18, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Perl Funeral Home & Siskiyou Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at Perl Funeral Home.
