Hoy V. Nidever

A private family service has been held for Hoy V. Nidever with inurnment in Memory Gardens Memorial Park.

Mr. Nidever, 90, of Butte Falls, died Saturday, May 13, 2006. He was born Dec. 9, 1915 in Quay County, N.M.

He had lived in the Rogue Valley most of his life, primarily in Ashland, where he worked over 31 years as a mechanic and shop foreman for Selby Chevrolet, which is now Town & Country Chevrolet. He enjoyed bowling, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include three sons, Kit and Alison Nidever, Aloha, Ore., Jean Nidever, San Antonio, Texas; Jay and Shirley Nidever, Houston, Texas, three daughters, Judi and Jack Sizemore, Butte Falls, Ore., Kathy and Ted Daniel, Vancouver, Wash., Janet and Bill Webster, Houston, Texas, step-son, Jim and Karla Brown, Eagle Point, Ore., brother, Leroy Nidever, Rosenberg, Texas, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
