Jacquetta Lee Elder
Jacquetta Lee Elder, 50 yrs. young, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at the Waterford Three Fountains Nursing Home. A Memorial Celebration of her life will be held at the Jerusalem Center on 6 Mace Rd., Medford, Oregon on June 3rd, at 10:00 a.m.
Jacquetta was born in Chelan Community Hospital, in Chelan, Washington, by Dr. Wham, on August 23, 1955 before going home to Manson, Wash. where she lived until she was about — months old. She moved to Deer Park, Wash., until she was about — yrs. When she moved to Medford, Ore., Jacquetta attended school in Gold Hill, Ore., through grade school. She moved back to Medford, Ore. for the rest of her schooling. When she was about 19 yrs. old, she moved to Seward, Alaska where she worked in the fish cannery. She moved back to Medford, Ore., in 1973 where she remained, off and on for the rest of her life.
Jacquetta is survived by her parents, Janet and Glen Allen of Medford, Ore., and Bruce Elder of Mt. Vernon, Wash.; two brothers, Ian Elder of Medford, Ore. and Randy Elder of Everett, Wash., one sister, Cena Peters of Medford, Ore., five step brothers, Don Allen of Yreka, Calif., Ron Allen of Portland, Ore., Glen Allen Jr. of Twin Falls, Idaho, James Allen of Merlin, Ore., and Dennis Allen of Gold Hill, Ore., two step sisters, Linda Mewis of Denver, Colo., and Glenda Bashan of Gold Hill, Ore.; Twenty-five nieces and nephews; and nineteen great-nieces and nephews and long time companion, Charles Spencer.
Jacquetta was preceded in death by her oldest brother Kyle Elder, one step nephew Seth Allen and all sets of her grand-parents.
