Gladys Morrick, 85, born March 8, 1921, passed away May 19, 2006.
She was one of four daughters born in Cleveland, Ohio to parents who migrated to the U.S. from Hungary. In the later 30s, the family moved to the L.A. area of California. She was married only once, and had only one child. In 1968 she moved to Medford and lived in the same house for 38 years.
Her interests were reading, music, puzzles, shopping, and collecting things, but mostly her devotion and dedication was to Jehovah as one of his witnesses.
She is survived by one sister, Anne Cozzi (Gene) of Coupeville, Wash.; one daughter, Andrea Archer of Applegate, Ore.; two grandchildren, Daniel Stephens (Shakkai) of Medford, and Sheri Archer of Applegate; two great-grandchildren, Paige David Stephens and Nikki Perez; two nephews, Bob Phelps (Betty) of Hornbrook, Calif., and David Riant (Lois) of Central Point.
Gladys had many caring and loving friends from the congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Medford. Her memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 3rd, at the Kingdom Hall at 953 Garfield St., Medford.
She was a very special lady with a great sense of humor and wit, and the most beautiful blue eyes ever. She was very loved and respected, and so will be missed very much.
