William "Bill" John Keever
William John Keever, 64 died at his home August 5, 2006. He was born July 13, 1942 in Los Angeles, Calif. to Bernard and Mahamah (Davis) Keever. He graduated from Notre Dame and then served in the US Navy from 1960-1966.
He married Connie Thayer in 1979 in Ruch, Ore. He worked for Pacific NW Bell and US West for 34 years as a lineman and construction manager, retiring in 1998. He belonged to the Knights of Columbus, Moose Lodge, and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He spent countless hours donating his time to St. Vincent DePaul, and ushering at Sacred Heart Church. He loved to play golf, fish, and exploring. He loved working on and improving his property, and his home.
Bill was a very selfless man and was especially cherished by all his family. He played a very important role not only in his children's lives, but also in his sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchilds.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; his son, Patrick John Keever; his daughter, Andrea Marie Keever; and a sister, Judith McArdle, all of Medford; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life will be Thursday, August 10, 2006 at 4:30 p.m. at the Conger~Morris Medford Chapel. A Rosary will be held Friday, August 11, at 8:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with a funeral mass at 12:00 Noon. Inurnment services will be Friday, August 11, at 3:00 p.m. at the Eagle Point National Cemetery.
