The Rosary for Nancy C. Wittmers will start at 8:00 a.m. with the memorial Mass following at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 12th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Medford. Pastor Rev. Liam Cary will officiate.
Mrs. Wittmers, 54, of Medford died on Wednesday, October 4th at her home. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to a favorite charity.
Nancy was born in San Francisco and grew up in Millbrae, graduating from St. Dunstan's school and Capuchino High School. On February 17, 1973 in Millbrae, Calif., she married the late Rodney Wittmers, who passed away in March 2003. Rod and Nancy were happily married for 30 years.
Nancy was a former salesperson for several office supply companies in the Bay Area before moving to Medford with her husband in 1993. She also had interests in real estate and investments.
Nancy was an excellent homemaker, great cook, loved to fish, and loved to entertain. She was the lively redhead known to be "the life of the party," with a contagious laugh.
Survivors include her siblings, sister, Patricia (Trish) Forde of Medford; brothers, Kevin Forde of Turlock, Calif. and Brian and Lisa Forde of Manteca, Calif.; loving nieces and nephews; in-laws and cousins from Forde, Wittmers and O'Leary families.
