A Memorial Service for Stephen Allen Crider will be held Friday, October 20, 2006 at 11 A.M. at the Eagle Point National Cemetery, Eagle Point, Ore. Pastor Peter Slusher of the Community Bible Church of Central Point, Ore. will conduct the services.

Stephen passed away in Ashland, Ore. Sept. 30, 2006 after many years battling cancer. He was born September 13, 1947 in Bakersfield, Calif. Steve was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served 18 months overseas as a helicopter crew member. He earned several medals.

Steve is survived by his former wife, Betty Crider of Calif., three sisters, and four brothers: Carolyn Thompson (Ken), of New Pine Creek, Ore., Janice Meadows (Frank), of Central Point, Ore, and Evelyn Pangel, of Colorado; and four brothers, Michael Crider (Nancy), of Lakeview, Ore., Mark Clark (Karen), of Medford, Ore., Josh Clark, of Klamath Falls, Ore. and John Branch, Santa Rosa, Calif. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles and many nieces, nephews and cousins in Oregon, Washington, California and Alaska. He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen Montgomery Branch and Willard Crider.
