Paul Douglas McCarthy

Paul Douglas McCarthy of Wilsonville, died September 26, 2006 due to complications of diabetes. He was the beloved son of Milton Doug and Clara McCarthy; and the devoted brother of Pamela McCarthy.

Paul was born in Daly City, Calif. He graduated from South Medford High School and following family tradition, he then served in the United States Army for four years as an Aviation Guidance Control Equipment Repairman and was stationed overseas in Germany. Upon his discharge, he attended O.I.T., where he was diagnosed with Type — Diabetes. He was a faithfaul employee of Rockwell Collins Flight Dynamics in Tualatin for several years. He was buried in Willamette National Cemetery on October 2, 2006. The family suggests remembrances in his name be made to the American Diabetic Association.
