Doris J. Rayburn

Doris J. Rayburn passed away March 14, 2007 in Vancouver, Wash.

She was born to Ori Ertle and Charlotte John in May of 1914 in Fall Bridge, Wash. She married Randall N. Robertson in Goldendale, Wash., on November 1, 1935. He preceded her in death in 1960. She married Harold V. Rayburn on June 15, 1978 in Reno, Nevada, and he passed away in 1989.

Doris lived in the Rogue Valley for several years, until 1978, when she moved to Vancouver, Wash. She kept score for the baseball games at Fagone field, and also enjoyed scorekeeping for bowlers at Roxy Ann Lanes.

Survivors include daughters, Dorothy (David) Bowen, Valerie (Ken) Millage; sons, Norman Robertson, John (Karen) Robertson, William (Lynn) Robertson, and Randy (Linda) Robertson; 21 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and a sister, Margaret Chittester.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, and two brothers.

A visitation will be held March 24, 2007 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Mountain View Memorial Chapel in Myrtle Creek, Ore., followed by a graveside service at — p.m.
