George Theron Mason

In loving memory of George Theron Mason, loving husband and father, there will be a Committal Service on March 23, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Eagle Point National Cemetery.

Mr. Mason passed away Monday, March 12 at his home. He was born in March 1926 in Carey, Idaho to Jesse and Laura Mason.

In 1944, Mr. Mason joined the U.S. Navy, serving for 2 years, achieving the rank of Fire Controlman Third Class. In 1953 he married the former Dorothy Binnion, who survives.

Mr. Mason had been a Timber Faller in the logging industry and had worked for Steve Wilson Logging Company, in White City, Oregon.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by — sons, Dennie Anderson, of Roseburg, Ore., David Anderson, of Eagle Point, Ore., and Glen Mason, of Trail, Ore; — daughter, Cathy Anderson, of Gold Beach, Ore.; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, — daughter and 13 brothers and sisters.
