M.P. (Bus) Toole
In loving memory of Bus Toole, beloved husband, father, and uncle, there is to be a memorial service at 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 23. The service will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1332 Mt. Pitt St., Medford, Ore.
Bus was born in Sept., 1923 to Bernice and Earnest Toole, in Days Creek, Ore. His early years were spent on his family's farm in Days Creek. Bus enlisted in the U.S. Navy on June 4, 1941 just before he graduated from high school in Weaverville. Bus was to serve his nation for a total of sixteen years, during WWII and Korea, receiving numerous ribbons and medals, including four Bronze Stars.
Bus married Opal Herrick, 1942 at Pearl harbor. She is deceased. On April 10, 1982, in Reno, Nev., he married Margaret (Peggy) Ulfers, who survives. Bus retired from Harrah's in Reno, as the manager of, maintenance departments.
Bus was preceded in death by his parents, Bernice and Ernest, his sister, Arlene, his brother, Leeland, and his first wife, Opal.
Bus is survived by his wife, Peggy, Medford, Ore., son, Ogden (Sharon) Toole, Reno, Nev., his sisters-in-law, Ruth Chesney and Virginia Doren, and many loving nieces, nephews, and their families.
Bus's surviving family is secure in the knowledge that Bus's beautiful soul now resides in his heavenly Father's house. His soul is rejoicing in the presence of our Father and Bus's family and friends who have gone before.
