Frank Edward Shehorn

Frank Edward Shehorn passed peacefully on March 2, 2007. He was born April 12, 1929 to Clyde and Anna Shehorn.

He was active in the Catholic Church, was an altar boy and a Boy Scout. He joined the Indiana National Guard and later, served his country as a Damage Repair Man in the Navy on the USS Forrest Royal during the Korean War.

After earning a degree from OIT, he lived in LaGrande, Twin Falls and Nampa, Idaho where he enjoyed archery, hunting, photography and fly fishing. He married Ruth Howard on September 14, 1969 and moved to the Medford area in 1970.

Frank was a member in the Fraternal Order to the Eagles and served as President of Medford Lodge in 1977. He retired from the County Road department after 20 years of service.

He was a kind and loving man and always generous with his laughter and quick wit. Above all, Frank was an artist. His works fill the homes of his family and friends. He touched our lives with great stories and beautiful art and will be missed by all who knew him.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to his nurse, Nancy Moffitt, and to Providence Hospice for their kindness and support.
