Marian Avis Brittsan

Mrs. Marian Avis Brittsan passed away in Eugene on March 17, 2007. She was born at home in Merlin, Oregon on March 13, 1924 to pioneer parents, Arthur and Lily Ann (Pence) Hussey. Mrs. Brittsan retired as a manager for Josephine County Schools food service in 1985 after working there for almost 30 years. She is the past Noble Grand of the Etna Rebekah Lodge and a past president of the Caveman Chapter of the Food Service Assoc. She enjoyed her family, friends, gardening, crocheting, and other crafts. Survivors include her son, Robert "Ted" Brittsan; two grandchildren, Zachary and Jessica; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
