Peggy May Haberman Partsafas

Peggy May Haberman Partsafas passed away April 15, 2007 at Three Fountains under the watchful care of her loving family.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 19th at 1:00 p.m. at the Medford United Methodist Church. Dr. Bill McDonald will officiate.

Peggy was born in May of 1926 in Selma, Ore. to Henry T. and Lillian Haberman. She was a graduate of Kerby High where she excelled in academics and sports.

In 1944, she married Louis Partsafas, her loving husband of 62 years. In 1955, they moved to Medford.

She was an active member of the United Methodist Church and Home Extension. She was an accomplished Professional musician, serving 20 years as a member and board member for the Professional Musician's Union. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, family gatherings and oil painting.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include one son, Clinton Partsafas (Mary); grandchildren, Linda Guches (Don), Terry Partsafas (Paulina), Connie Partsafas, Aaron Partsafas (Christen), Daniel Partsafas (Tina); and seven and a half great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; one sister; and a son, Terry Glenn Partsafas, who was killed in the Viet Nam War in 1968.

She was loved by all and will be dearly missed by everyone.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Hematology/Oncology, Asante Hospital, Providence Hospice, and Three Fountains for their wonderful care and support.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the Medford United Methodist Church.
