Char loved the outdoors and nature, especially animals. She spent her time fishing, gardening, reading and lots of walking.

She has been described by a friend as being a "gentle soul." She was that as well as a generous, kind and loving friend.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, and a sister, Juanita. At her request there will be no services. Contributions in her name may be made to Curry County Hospice, P.O. Box 746, Gold Beach, OR 97444
