William David Brown
William "Bill" David Brown
March 29, 1959-April 10, 2007
Bill was born in Medford, where Kenneth and Marcia Borwn lived with older brother, Michael. The small family later moved to Cave Junction, where Bill attended school, participating in basketball, football, wrestling, and the art of pestering his two younger sisters, Roseadda and Melissa. Bill grew up in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and honing his skill of reporting about the one that got away.
Bill and his family moved to Central Point, where he attended Crater High School in 1968 and 1969. Bill had many interests in life and enjoyed making friends, meeting new people, and visiting new places. Traveling and moving up and down the West Coast helped feed his interests and gave him plenty of stock for telling his adventures.
Bill finally settled in Spokane, Wash. There, he worked for Kaiser Aluminum and met and married his wife, Patricia. Bill continued his love of the outdoors and was even prouder when he got to share it with his son, Justin. Bill went to work for Mustang Line Contractors, where he drove across the country, still finding a way to enjoy his love of adventure and provide for his family.
When Bill passed away at Spokane Holy Family Hospital, his mom, Marcia, was with him. The person who brought him into the world was there to hold his hand and comfort him as he left it.
Marcia, Michael, Rose, Melissa, Trish and Justin will miss their son, brother, husband, father, and friend in Bill.
A memorial service was held April 14, 2007 in the Mt. Spokane Chapel, LDS.
