In Loving Memory

Hazel Mae Hudson, 88, passed peacefully into the presence of our Lord Jesus, early Saturday morning, October 27, 2007, with her devoted husband, Russell, by her side.

She was born September 5, 1919, in Meeker, Okla., to Nellie Mae and George Stearman, one of 12 children. She is survived by her husband, Russell, of 61 years; three sons, John, David and Doye; 12 grandsons and numerous great-grandchildren.

Married to Russell Jay Hudson, CWO-USN (Ret) ever the traveling busy family, from Santa Ana, Calif., to Tillamook, to Philadelphia, Pa., Bremerton, Wash., San Diego, Calif., retiring in Wonder, then finally to Medford.

There was nothing that could get in the way of her and God. Her friendship was always true. Her passions were gardening, ceramics, and her greatest pleasure was making beautiful quilts, always ready to show her latest creation.

Hazel was an extraordinary person of faithfulness, tenacity, commitment, strength and loving kindness. We will miss Granny dearly.

A celebration of her life will be held at the First Baptist Church, 649 Crater Lake Ave., Medford, at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2007, reception to follow. Inurnment will be at the Eagle Point National Cemetery on Monday, at 3:00 p.m.

The family asks that any memorial contributions be made to Providence Hospice.
