Ronald Dale Larson

Ronald Dale Larson

Ron passed away peacefully in his sleep due to a progressive form of Lou Gehrig's disease.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Patricia Larson, of Medford, Ore.; two sons, Terry Driskill (Sheri), of Medford, and Steve Driskill (Laurel), of Philomath; two daughters, Kristi Elsemore, of Kelseyville, Calif., and Leslie Ann Larson, of Modesto, Calif.; and two grandchildren, Jared and Darci Elsemore.

Ron was born to Jerry and Phyllis Larson in Klamath Falls. He went to Klamath Union High School and later attended the University of Oregon. He was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and was a veteran of the United States Army.

Ron dedicated over 30 years to his work in the lumber wholesale industry where he enjoyed running his own company, Greensprings Forest Products.

Our dad loved spending time in the outdoors camping, boating and fishing. He also loved golfing with his buddies and playing a good game of bridge. Most of all, he loved a good joke and laughing with his family. He adored his wife and was the biggest champion of all his children. He will be dearly missed by all.

The family wishes to express their gratitude and heartfelt thanks to Dr. Mike and nurse Misty of Providence Hospital; Diane and Charlene, of Providence Home Care and Hospice; and the wonderful Loibl family for their compassion, love and care.

At our father's request, there will be no service. Memorial contributions can be made to Providence Home Care and Hospice at 2033 Commerce Drive.
