Thomas Hilton III

Thomas Hilton III

Thomas Hilton III, Mar. 6, 1943-Nov. 29, 2008.

We honor the passing of Tom, a very kind and gentle spirit. He was born to Jane and Thomas Hilton Jr., in San Francisco, Calif. They moved back to Georgia after WWII and settled close to Savannah. Tom was an excellent student and attended high school at the Webb School for boys in Tennessee. After four years in the Air Force, he attended Berry College in Rome, Ga., and then went on to graduate school in Atlanta, at Georgia State. While attending college, the delight of his life was born, his son Joe. Graduating with an M.B.A., they moved to Savannah, Ga. and was employed by the Savannah sugar refinery.

In the early 1980s, Tom moved to Medford, Ore., as a single man. He sold commercial real estate until he retired. He met the love of his life, Lee Ann Holt, his wife who survives along with his son, Joe Hilton; his two brothers, Bob Hilton and John Hilton.

Services will be held at Eagle Point National Cemetery, Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, at 1:00 p.m., in the committal shelter. Interment immediately to follow.

Arrangements by Rogue Valley Funeral Alternatives.
