Alma G. Trosper

Alma G. Trosper, a long-time Rogue Valley resident, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, April 15, 2010. She was born on April 23, 1917, in Leslie, Ark., to William and Martha Horn. She was the second of 12 children. On September 22, 1940, she married Richard E. Trosper, who preceded her in death. She also had a son, Willie Richard, who preceded them in death.

She is survived by four daughters, Barbara, Shirley, Freida, and Linda. Alma had twelve grandchildren, whom she called her angels and numbered each of them. Angel #1 Debra, #2 Robert, #3 Sondra, #4 Tamara, #5 Connie, #6 Kimberly, #7 Kelly, #8 Jay, #9 Richard, #10 Mark, #11 Stephen, and #12 Kiley. She had twenty great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren, totaling 34 angels; and she loved them with all her heart. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and made a life-long habit of taking pictures. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at 1:00 p.m., in the Conger-Morris Medford chapel.
