Richard Arthur Morgan
Richard entered into rest in the Fathers arms on Sunday, September 19, 2010. He was born in Cheyenne, Wyo, November 23, 1942, to Clara and Wayne Morgan.
Richard moved to Ashland, Ore., in 1948. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1960 1967 in Vietnam as a RM2. His career was in maintenance/engineer through out the years. In 2001, he retired due to medical reasons.
He was a servant to the Lord through different ministries at Table Rock Fellowship. Richard was known well as The Bus Driver for the children at Table Rock. The last ministry was caretaker of the church campground, Apserkaha at Howard Prairie Lake. Richard married Donna on May 19, 1979.
He had three children, Evie (Ken) Carter, of Medford, Ore., Desi Guches, of Olympia Wash., Debra (Jeff) Swinney, Fruitland, Idaho; three special grandchildren, Dan (Carol) Carter, of Kansas, with one great-grandchild, Joshua; Kerri Carter, of Medford, Ore.; and three children from a previous marriage, Melissa, Stephen and Bonnie. He is survived by wife of 31 years, Donna; and brother, Buck Morgan, of Medford, Ore.; nephews and nieces that loved Richard very much; and his extended family, Amie and Jeff Harris and their family. He was preceded in death by sister, Bonnie.
He had a great passion for family gatherings, loved camping, boating, fishing, hunting, and always the fellowship potlucks.
