Victoria 'Vicky' L. Rosenberger

Victoria Rosenberger, 87, of Central Point, Ore., passed away Saturday, December 3, 2011, at an adult foster care home in Central Point. She was born July 23, 1924, to George and Isabel Tucker, in LaGrande, Ore. Vicky lived in Central Point and Medford during her lifetime.

She graduated from Medford High School in 1942. Vicky married her sweetheart, Rosie, the day before her 18th birthday. She was a bit of a rebel in her youth. She lost her sweetie after 54 wonderful years together.

Vicky was not only a good friend and neighbor, but a terrific mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was known for her "Angel Biscuits" and her wonderful cooking. Vicky was a terrific homemaker. She loved walking, gardening, taking care of her flowers, camping, fishing, and cats, especially cats. She was also a member of the VFW Post 5726 Ladies Auxilliary, in Central Point.

She is survived by her son, Gary (Terry) Rosenberger; daughter, Linda (Jerry) Godley; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rosie; her parents; and her sister, Maxine Tessman.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 9, 2011, 1:00 p.m., at the First Presbyterian Church, in Central Point. Reverand Terry Graunke will officiate.
