Miriam "MeMa" Evans, 88, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013, at RVMC.

Miriam was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Evans; parents, Thurman and Evelyn Perkins; and brothers, Lester Perkins, Donald Perkins, and Ted Perkins.

Survivors include her daughter Cindy (Gordon) Wood of Medford; Gregory (Mike Weber) Evans of Daly City, Calif.; and Jeffrey (Jaci) Evans of Portland; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friend Nemiro Ted Strazdas.

Abbey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. A private family celebration of Miriam's life will be held at a later date.
