Randall 'Randy' Perkins
(One Good Lookin' Redneck)
On March 23, 2013, Randy got to go dirt bike ridin' and gun shootin' with his Lord in Heaven and his son, Jake. No longer will he be stressin' over politics or work. Lucky son of a gun.
Randy was known by peers and friends to be a hard worker and all-around great guy. He enjoyed all types of car racing, as well as motorcycle racing. He was an avid NASCAR fan. He also dearly enjoyed time with family and friends. His hobbies included traveling and camping in his RV, fishing, hunting, and motorcycle riding.
Randy was born in Medford and was an active member of the community all his life. He had worked as a lead man at TP Trucking for 28 years. He had also owned the Mustard Seed Caf at one point and had been a volunteer firefighter. Randy will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved daughter, Mandy; his loving fianc, Denise Shyrer; mother, Rosie Michael (Carl); father, Dennis Perkins (Ruby); sister, Laura Eubank (Bob); brother, Dan Perkins (Debbi); stepbrothers, Rick and Bob Michael; and daughter-in-law, Krystal Perkins. Lilli, Riley, Sierra, and Weston Perkins were the light of their grandpa's life. He was also survived by nieces and nephews who all held a special place in his heart. Randy's son, Jake, preceded him in death in 2010.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Neighborhood Church, 1819 West Stewart, Medford, OR 97501. Refreshments will follow the service.
