Bonnie Lou Nixon
Bonnie Lou Nixon passed away September 20, 2013 at Providence Hospital in Medford, Ore. Bonnie, the only daughter, was born October 25, 1930 at home in Chappell, Neb. to Milton Edgar and Mae Alma (Hiatt) Criswell.
Bonnie was employed for 18 years at Providence Hospital and 20 years at American Linen. She enjoyed bowling, genealogy, her friends and her family, whom she talked with frequently by phone.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Bob Nixon; her brother, Robert Criswell; her children, Joyce Keith, Sharon Funk, and Larry Funk; her step-children, Janetta Hurlburt, Don Nixon, Ruth Anne Morgan, and Dan Nixon; three grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Her parents, three brothers, three sisters-in-law, and her son-in-law preceded her in death.
A "Remembrance-Celebration Shindig" potluck will take place November 2, 2013 at the Meadows, Central Point, OR. At her request no funeral services will be held. Arrangements by Perl Funeral Home.
