Clifford J. Larson
Clifford J. Larson passed away April 15, 2014 at the Willow House in Phoenix, Ore. He was born in Minot, N.D. to Oscar Arnestad and Ellie Armstrong. He married Marrie Dorothy Powers in 1952 and served in the U.S. Air Force.
Clifford enjoyed playing cards and in his younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
He is survived by his sons, Eddie Larson (Deana) of Medford, Ore. and Ted Larson of Butte, Mont.; grandsons, Thomas E. Larson (Christine) of Eagle Point, Ore., James Larson of Medford, Ore., and Keith Larson of Butte, Mont.; granddaughter, Kamie Bradfield of Medford, Ore; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy; and beloved sister, Dorothy Knapstead.
The family would like to say a special thanks to Annie and her wonderful staff at the Willow House for their love and care to our Dad.
A service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 24, 2014 at the L.D.S. Church, 2900 Juanipero Way, Medford, Ore. Bishop Dan Anway will officiate. He will be interred at Eagle Point National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, send contributions to Southern Oregon Humane Society, 2910 Table Rock Rd., Medford, OR 97501.
