Ferrell Lee Bailey
Ferrell Lee Bailey, 71, passed away April 24, 2014 at the Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, Oregon. He was born May 30, 1942 in Waldron, Ark. to James and Callie Bailey.
Ferrell grew up in Arkansas and California. He attended high school in Leggett, California. After high school, Ferrell enlisted in the U.S. Army. He worked for Royal Oak Charcoal company in White City, Ore. for 20 years.
Ferrell married Donna in 1963 in McKinleyville, California. They were happily married for 50 years. Ferrell was an active member of the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed camping, golf, gardening and spending time with family.
Ferrell is survived by his sons, Damon of Houston, Texas and Kevin of Willits, Calif.; his grandson, Tyler; and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. Ferrell shared a lifelong friendship with Charles Gifford.
Throughout his long and colorful life Ferrell wore many hats, but the one he was most proud of was grandpa. Ferrell spent his later years completely devoted to his only grandchild, Tyler. His absence will leave a hole that will be impossible to fill.
At Ferrell's request there will be no funeral service.
