Frances Davis Pyle

Frances Davis Pyle, 86, passed away May 20, 2014 in her home surrounded by family. She was born in Alhambra, Calif., where she grew up. She attended the University of Southern California. Frances received her teaching degree and became an elementary school teacher at Encinita in Rosemead, Calif.

After marrying Willis "Bill" Henry Pyle in 1951, she and Bill moved to Temple City, Calif. and started their family. In 1959 they moved to the Rogue Valley. After moving to Oregon, Frances was a homemaker and always enjoyed baking, canning, gardening, and her flowers.

Bill and Frances loved old cars and were members of the Rogue Valley Old Time Car Club and the Horseless Carriage Car Club. After Bill's passing she became very active in the Central Point Garden Club and her church. She has always had a deep love for her children and grandchildren.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; and her two sisters, Dorothy Pyle and Mary Ballenger. Survivors include two sons, Keith Pyle of Medford, Ore. and Scott Pyle of Eugene, Ore.; daughter, Norma Federico of Salem, Ore; two granddaughters, Rebecca Tadlock and Brenda Pyle; and two grandsons, Paul and Robbie Federico.

According to her wishes she will be cremated and laid to rest with her husband, Bill, at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Corvallis, Ore. Memorial Contributions may be made to Asante Hospice, 2960 Doctor's Park Dr., Medford, Oregon 97504.
