It is with deep, and heavy sadness that we announce the passing of Bill Reagan from Medford, Ore. on August 2, 2014 at the young age of 64.
Bill was born to Joan Bartlett and William Reagan August 6, 1949 in Portland, Ore.
Raised in Klamath Falls, Ore. Bill joined the U.S. Army in 1967, serving two tours in the Vietnam War as an honorable tank commander. He then moved to the Rogue Valley where he married his beautiful bride, Iris Reagan, in 1971.
Bill established Bills Backhoe Service in 1978. As an independent contractor, he thrived on building his business into the successful construction company it is today. He was a respected and loved member of the construction industry in the Rogue Valley.
He loved and trusted the Lord Jesus with all his heart.
He loved snowmobiling, riding his motorcycle with friends, working at home on his property, and spending time with his family.
Everyone who met Bill was blessed by his honor and integrity. He chose to be a Servant to this community and to uplift all who crossed his path. He was a man of his word and took pride in providing his crew, clients, and his family with the best that he could give! And he gave all he had.
He is survived by his wife, Iris; two daughters, Tia Reagan and Jennifer Harper, both of Medford, Ore.; and five grandchildren, Devon Meyer, Skyler Reagan, Kenyon Mayer, Sophia Reagan, and Sidney McQueen; brother, Rick Bartlett of Central Point, Ore.; and half-sister, Denise Glover of Red Bluff, Calif.
A graveside memorial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 11, 2014 at Eagle Point National Cemetery. A procession to the cemetery will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Conger Morris, Central Point. A celebration of life will follow at 4:00 p.m. at The Commons, 200 N. Riverside Ave, Medford, OR 97501.
