Beulah (Butch) Johnson
In loving memory of Butch Johnson who was called home Monday October 27, 2014. Butch was born March 13, 1938 in Klamath Falls, Ore. but was raised in Medford, Ore. and made it her home. She resided in Jacksonville, Ore. for the past 19 years.
Butch was preceded in death by her husband and soulmate of 51 years, Bobby Joe who was called home in May 2014; her mom, Mabel who passed in 2009; and her sister, Ruth who passed in 2010.
Butch is survived by her and Bobby's nine children, five sons, Rod (Jan), Curt (Laurie), Rick (Mandy), Vince, and Rob; four daughters, Vickie (Richard), Debbie (Greg), Gina (Oscar), and Ronda; one brother, Richard Babcock; two sisters, Carol Ross and Dorothy Brochue; 32 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
Butch was a very loving, caring, and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandma. Her family was the most important part of her life and she always put others' needs before her own. Butch was a genuine lady who was loved and respected by all whose lives she touched. She was a devoted and loyal friend and if you were her friend, you had a treasure and lifetime friend.
Up until this past year Butch had always been a very energetic and vivacious lady who had a great passion for gardening and her flowers. She enjoyed going for evening rides on their trike, she liked to play bingo, cards and Yahtzee, and used to be an avid bowler and on leagues.
Butch will be missed more than words can express. She will live on in our precious memories and in our hearts forever.
A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 740 Bybee Dr. # 21 in back, Jacksonville.
