Donna Jeanne Brawn DeCamp
Donna Jeanne Brawn DeCamp, 64, passed quietly into the hands of God in the early hours of December 11, 2014, at Providence Medford Medical Center, surrounded by the love of her siblings, children and grandchildren.
She was born on July 11, 1950, to her parents William W. Brawn and Shirley Patricia Brawn, in Medford Oregon, who preceded her in death. She grew up with three brothers, Mike, Gerald and Daryl, and one sister, Di-Ann, with whom she shared a happy childhood.
Donna was a bright spirit, always smiling, always willing to give of herself to make someone else happy. She was a dedicated mother, a loving grandmother, fostered homeless animals, volunteered countless hours at her church, and gave her love and kindness wherever she could find a soul in need.
She was an avid crafter, and could do most anything well. She loved to sew, knit, crochet, quilt, cross stitch and needlepoint, as well as preserving, canning and freezing. Her talents earned her the title of Master Preserver with Jackson County, of which she was very proud. She shared her gifts not only with family, but also, through her church, with the homeless and cancer patients.
In addition to her brothers and her sister, she is survived by her three children, Rebecca, Chris and Kevin Piquette, and her five grandchildren, Hailey, Chase, Shyla, Gabe and Alex. Her love, warmth and giving spirit will be missed by all of us forever.
Services will be held on December 17, 2014, at 11:00 am, at the First Church of the Nazarene, at 1974 E McAndrews Rd in Medford, OR.
