Shirley Jean Tracy
Shirley Jean Tracy, 90, of Rogue River, Ore., passed away February 6, 2015 at Avamere Three Fountains in Medford, Ore. She was born Shirley Jean Bereman October 31, 1924 in Storm Lake, Iowa. On July 25, 1943, she married Clifford Tracy in Palms, Calif. They moved to Gold Hill, Ore. in 1975.
Shirley was formerly employed at MGM Studios in the Publicity Art Dept. She and Cliff had owned Bear State Termite Control in Long Beach, Calif. They had also owned Pacific Trailer Park in Oceanside, Calif. and Talent Mobile Estates in Talent, Ore. She enjoyed bowling, genealogy, writing poems, crafts, crosswords, dancing, music, politics, and video poker. She was a member of two Senior bowling leagues in Grants Pass, Ore., the Foots Creek Birthday and Community Clubs in Rogue River, Ore., The Republican Party, and many Conservative organizations.
She is survived by her daughter, Mardelle Nayor (Gary) of Roy, Utah; sons, Ron Tracy (Lynda) of Oceanside, Calif., Gary Tracy (Brenda) of St. Cloud, Fla., Randy Tracy, of Brookings, Ore., Dan Tracy of Gold Hill, Ore., and Terry Tracy (Peggy) of Medford, Ore.; and nephews, Ellis Bereman of Thousand Oaks, Calif. and Robert Bereman of Reno, Nev. Also 21 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-greats. She was preceded in death by her husband Cliff. No services will be held.
