Kenneth Teske passed away February 25, 2015 at home after a brief illness. He was born August 28, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio where he was raised.
Ken enlisted in the U.S. Marines to serve in the 2nd World War and was at Iwo Jima where he received the Purple Heart.
Ken married Lois Ramsey and they raised five children. The family moved to California where Ken was a machinist with the Dutch Company for 30 years. Ken and Lois retired to Central Point, Ore. and had many years of camping, traveling, and Masonic Lodge functions. Several years after Lois's passing, Ken married Lois Burrell. They continued to travel and go on cruises.
Ken was a lifetime member and past master of the Masonic Lodge. A member of the Amaranth, Scottish Rite, and Eastern Star, Ken was also a member of the VFW.
Ken is survived by his wife, Cora; her daughter and family; two daughters; two sons; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald; sister, Dorothy; two wives; and daughter, Barbara.
A private family service was held at the Eagle Point National Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2015 at The Meadows Retirement Community Center in Central Point. In Lieu of flowers, please consider Shriner's Children's Hospital, The American Cancer Society, or the Central Point Senior Center.
