Lee Alfred Perlman
Lee Alfred Perlman, born March 31, 1940 in Denver, Colo., passed away peacefully in his home in Ashland, Ore. Thursday, February 26, 2015. He was interred at Scenic Hills Memorial Park, Ashland, Ore. Friday, February 27, 2015.
His working years began with reporting as a teen for a Denver newspaper. The majority of his career years were spent reporting, writing, and editing. He also served in the United States Navy and worked with Naval Intelligence.
During his years in Ashland, Ore. he was passionate about contributing to his community. He was an active member of the local Elks Lodge #944, served on the board of the Ashland Historic Railroad Museum, and lent his talents to numerous community projects.
His gentle, compassionate nature, great sense of humor, selflessness, and ever-present giving spirit will be greatly missed by many.
