Bobbie Wenona Jepsen

Bobbie Wenona Jepsen, 82, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 in Eagle Point, Ore. She was born November 11, 1933 in Tillman County, Okla. to Bob and Ophelia (Peterson) Prettyman.

An Ashland High School graduate and longtime valley resident, Bobbie worked many places over the years. Her favorite was feeding kids in the cafeterias of the Ashland School District and the Eagle Point School District for almost 50 years.

Her hobbies were many, including growing lush house plants, gardening, attending school sporting events, and keeping beautiful tanks of fish. Most of all she found great joy in baking pies, cakes, and cookies for friends and family. Her great-grandkids called her "Grandma Cookie."

She is survived by sisters, Vonnie Henry and Kay Ann Wilson; daughters, Terrie McCoy (Pat), Wendy Contento, and Sami Jo Hile; sons, Randy McDougall, Robert McDougall (Lisa), and Tony McDougall (Angie); 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. There are many more considered family members. She was preceded in death by a son, Marty McDougall; sisters, Clarece Hammitt, Wanda Prettyman; and her brother, Clarence Prettyman.

A graveside memorial is planned for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 16, 2015 at the Phoenix Pioneer Cemetery, Phoenix, Ore. There will be a gathering afterwards at the home of Rob and Lisa McDougall.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Hospice and especially to Kelly Schneider for her patience, care, comfort, and support.
