David 'Bud' Rodger

David Robert Rodger "Bud", 89, of Medford, Ore. passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Providence Medical Center in Medford with his wife of 68 years at his side, along with friends and an Anglican Priest. He was predeceased by his son, Charles in 2000. He was born in Berkeley, Calif.
David served in the U.S. Coast Guard in WWII. He was employed by Western Electric Co. for 37 years, retiring in 1983.
In 1947, David married Lois Clifton in Oakland, Calif and they later moved to San Leandro, Calif. In 1998 the couple moved to Central Point, Ore. where they built their home, later moving to Veranda Park, remaining until present.
Bud was a 66 year master mason and a member of Medford Masonic Lodge #103 and Crow Canyon Lodge #551 in Castro Valley, Calif. He was a member of Reames Chapter Order of the Eastern Star in Medford and a past Royal Patron of the Amarath Court which moved to Roseburg, Ore. He was also a member of the congregation of St. Andrew's Anglican Church in Jacksonville, Ore. He was Master of his lodge in California in 1965 and a secretary for 14 years.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 18 at the Medford Masonic Center at 975 North Phoenix Rd., accompanied by an Anglican Priest. Inurnment will be in Hayward, Calif. at the Chapel of the Chimes. Arrangements by Conger-Morris, Medford. 541-772-7111
