Marbeth “Mickey” Bell, was a woman who was larger than life. Mickey was loving, giving, passionate, spirited, opinionated, and strong. Mickey passed away peacefully September 9, 2015.

Mickey was born in Denver, Colo. September 1, 1930 to Hugh and Marie McKeever. Mickey attended Ashland High School and graduated in 1948.

Mickey was married to Paul Bell in Ashland Ore. on July 16, 1950. They were married for 47 years until Paul’s passing.

Mickey was a nurse in Ashland for many years, working for Dr. Hald and for Ashland Family Practice.

Mickey is survived by her daughter, Beverly Kershner (Michael); her son, Bob Bell (Madeline); her granddaughter, Kelley Culp (Jason) and their children, Michael and Sophia; and her grandson, Ryon Kershner (Georgia), and their children Avery, Eli, and Seth.

A celebration of Mickey’s life will be held Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Ashland Gracepoint Nazarene Church. Mickey loved animals; In lieu of flowers, to honor her memory, donations can be made to the Southern Oregon Humane Society or Rescue Ranch Inc.
