Kim 'Kimmie' Lynette Beck
Kim Beck passed away October 26, 2015 in Medford, Ore. She was born July 27, 1957 to Paul and Toni Johnson in Eureka, Calif.
Kim moved to Medford in 1974 and worked at the Holly and Craterian Theaters before starting a long career working at Smith Barney Harris Upham. On January 16, 1993 she married Jeff Beck in Central Point, Ore.
She loved spending time with her husband, friends, and family and especially enjoyed playing Texas Hold’Em poker, which earned her the title of “Kimpossible." Kim was a special person, loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Kim is survived by her beloved husband, Jeff; her sisters, Paulette Gilliam (Gary), Karen Clark (Mark), and Kathy Mitchell (Bill); her brothers, Greg Johnson and Brad Johnson (Cheryl); her parents-in-law, Chuck and Ruthie; her brother-in-law, Steve Beck; her sisters-in-law, Aylea Allen and Mary Peters; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul and her nephews, Sandy Johnson and Matthew Gilliam.
A remembrance service in honor of Kim’s life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Eagles Lodge, 2000 Table Rock Rd., Medford, Ore. 97501. All who knew and loved Kim are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, remembrance contributions in Kim’s name may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
