Darci Racquel Schandoney
Darci Schandoney passed away April 6, 2016. She was born March 21, 1992. Darci grew up in the Rogue Valley and graduated in 2010 from Crater High School in Central Point, Ore.
She loved her family, friends, and animals of every kind. In high school, she raised pigs for 4-H.
Darci loved to camp, fish, 4-wheel, and ride quads, especially with her dad; she was always very much her daddy's girl. She had a great sense of humor and after making some smart-alec comment, would often give you a sideways look to see if you understood that last thing she said.
Darci was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, and friend. She leaves us all with broken hearts and an empty place that will never be filled.
She is survived by her father, Richard (Tatia); her mother, Patricia; her maternal grandmother, Wanda; her brothers, Nick (Holly), Aaron, and Tyler; her sisters, Ashley, Bella, and Sophia, and Paisley; her aunts, Pam (Ted), Sherry (Randy), Julie, and Jo; her uncles, Gragg and Jay. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Sharon; and her best fur-friends, Bodie, Chachi, and Cheeto.
Darci wished to follow in her grandma's example and generously become an organ donor. They stand together, hand in hand, and feel joy at having helped so many in their generous donations of life. We will remember that she has been set free.
