Mr. John Braack, 91, of Medford, Ore. passed away April 4, 2016 at his home. He was born October 2, 1924 to Charles and Laura Braack in Kelso, Wash.
He served in World War II on the underwater demolition team. He was a logger, master mechanic, and fabricator. He participated in several oil-spill clean ups including the Exxon Valdez oil spill in Alaska and the Komi oil-spill in Russia.
He is survived by four daughters, Monte Wallace, Randee Gillespie, Joanne Hanson, and Tracy Braack; his son, Mike Braack; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pat Braack on May 2, 2013.
