Charles 'Chuck' Laverne Flagg
Charles Laverne Flagg, 73, passed away March 30, 2016, at his home in Medford, Ore. He was born June 11, 1942, to William and Louise Flagg (Eek) in Three Rivers, Mich. and has been a resident of the Rogue Valley since 1945.
Chuck enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, and camping. He also enjoyed working on performance vehicles and racing them as well. He worked for Medford’s Volkswagen dealership as a factory-trained Porsche/Audi mechanic for 20 years, then opened and operated his own auto repair shop in Medford (Performance Auto Sports) where he worked until retirement.
Chuck is survived by his devoted wife, Carol Flagg (Longan), to whom he was married just shy of 50 years; brother, James Flagg; sister, Darlene Ditsworth; stepbrother, Park Clark; stepsister, Sharon Hudson; stepmother, Lois Flagg; aunts, Mary Eek and Nita Eek; and many other nieces, nephews, and extended family members who were so proud to have Chuck as a relative.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Asante Hospice for their excellent care, and to all who have prayed and offered support during this difficult time.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 16, 2016, at Victory Christian Fellowship, 143 North Grape Street, Medford, Ore.
