Alma E Loper

Alma Loper, 95, of Talent, Ore passed away May 19, 2016 at Avamere in Medford, Ore. She was born January 11, 1921 to Le Roy and Gladys Williams in Richland, Ore. She grew up in the Valley View area and attended Ashland schools.
She married Lewis Loper in Medford May 18, 1941. They lived on Valley View and at Gilman's Dairy where Lewis was employed. In 1949 they purchased land on Anderson Creek Road and lived there until late 2015.
Alma was a homemaker. Her hobbies included ceramics, sewing, baking, and canning. She was a typical farmer's wife and mother.
She is survived by her three sons, Jerry of Sprague River, Don (Darlene), and Ken (Phyllis) of Talent; two sisters, Betty Hively of Medford and Barbara Wolford of Ashland; two brothers, Jim Williams of White City and Bill Williams of Salem; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
"Death leaves a heartache difficult to heal. Love leaves memories impossible to steal." She is loved and will be missed. No services are planned.
