Jacqueline Jean Boehm
Jackie Boehm, 80, passed away peacefully at Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, Ore., Friday May 27, 2016. She was born August 10, 1935 to Albert and Josephine Wescott in Chippewa Falls, Wis. and has one younger sister.She graduated from nursing school in Madison, Wis. in 1955, and in 1963 moved to Roseburg, Ore. with her mother and sister and her family. She worked at Douglas Community Hospital.She married William Boehm in Medford, Ore. January 14, 1970. Together with her daughter and son and his four sons they blended their families and moved to Central Point, Ore. She worked for Drs. Alvin, Wayne and Dan Roberts in Central Point.Most of all Jackie loved her family and enjoyed every minute she could spend, especially with the babies. She loved animals, shopping, and trips to visit her grandchildren. She was also the "Queen of Sticky Notes" and her motto was: THINK YELLOW!She is survived by her beloved husband, William Boehm of Central Point; daughter, Mary K. Boehm Chisum (Dallas) of Medford; sons, John Boehm of Medford, Michael Boehm (Beverly) of Medford, Matthew Boehm of Idaho, and Christopher Boehm (Holly) of Portland; a sister Joan Chirhart (Del) of Roseburg, Ore.; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, Albert and Josephine Wescott; and a son, Robert Boehm.A Celebration of Life is being planned for mid-July.
