Betty Jean MacGregor
Betty Jean MacGregor passed away June 26, 2016 at her home in Jacksonville, Ore. She was born July 31, 1924 in Los Angeles, Calif. to Albert and Emma Jean Schloesser. Her siblings are sister, Mercedes Vanotti and brother, Albert Lewis Schloesser.Betty attended Manual Arts High School in Los Angeles where she was voted most popular. She was married October, 1942 to William Scott MacGregor. They moved to Manhattan Beach, Calif. in 1945, Big Bear Lake, Calif. in 1956, and Applegate, Ore. in 1972.Betty had a zest for life. She loved people, was a friend to all, and loved to dance. She loved the Lord with all her heart and was active in Applegate Community Church in Applegate and the Jacksonville Presbyterian Church.Betty is survived by her daughter, Jacqui Lynne Coburn of Jacksonville; son, John Scott MacGregor of Central Point; grandchildren, Leslie Sherbourne, Troy Coburn, Stephanie Atkinson, Shawna Mahaffy, Jonnell Masson, and Jessica Deshler; great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Landon, Karlie, Dawson, Eliana, Aubrielle, Kevin, Perry, Benjamin, Gabriel, Jack, Dane, Scott, and Jack.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2016 at the Royal Mobile Estates Clubhouse.
