Heather Nance Byrne
January 5, 1965 - April 18, 2016
Heather Nance Byrne of Milpitas, Calif. and Jacksonville, Ore. walked into Jesus’ arms peacefully April 18, 2016 at her home in Milpitas surrounded by those who loved and cared for her. Heather was born January 5, 1965 in Wauwatosa, Wis. to parents, Dr. Richard and Mary Ann Byrne.
Heather was raised in the university towns of Madison, Wisconsin; Austin, Texas; and Los Angeles (University of Southern California.) She also lived in Altadena, Lafayette, and Concord, California.
Heather is survived by her mother, Mary Ann of Jacksonville; her twin sister, Megan of Milpitas; cousins, Carol Bath (Dick), Central Point; Jeffrey Rowat (Luann), Des Moines, Iowa; Patrick Nance (Wendy), Tiburon, Calif.; Melinda Hartford (James), Newburyport, Mass.; and devoted, special friend, Jennifer Plants (Bill) and son, Matthew, Campbell, Calif.
Both Heather’s father, Richard, and infant sister, Erin, preceded her in death.
A service and celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2016 at the Historic Jacksonville Presbyterian Church, 405 East California Street. Memorial contributions may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church of Jacksonville, P.O. Box 297, Jacksonville, Ore., 97530 for the Preservation Fund of the Historic Church. This church sanctuary and fellowship hall were well-loved by Heather.
