William R. Coleman
March 2, 1937 - July 29, 2016
William R. Coleman, 79, passed away July 29, 2016, after bravely fighting cancer. Bill was born and raised in Long Beach Calif.
He was in the trucking business most of his life - Truck & Brake Specialties and Coleman Truck Center. He had three sons whom he loved and he enjoyed riding motorcycles and sailing with his boys. He served in the United States Army National Guard, he was a Mason, a Shriner, a Paul Harris Fellow, and he served on the board of directors of Good Will in Long Beach.
In 1995 he moved to Shady Cove with his wife, Lisa and step-daughter, Erin. They built their home along the Rogue River and Bill just loved it there. He loved his family and he loved his life. He enjoyed working in his yard and just being home with his wife. After retiring in 2005, he and Lisa worked side by side in the real estate business – always feeling blessed. He was a very kind, caring, and loving man who will be greatly missed.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa; sons, Bob, Steve, and Scott Coleman; step-daughter, Erin Silva McCann; and four grandchildren, Calvin, John, Cassie, and Madden Coleman.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Pearl Funeral Home in Medford.
