Ruth Pearl Hinch

Ruth P. Hinch passed away peacefully Saturday, November 12, 2016. She was born December 31, 1925 in Moscow, Idaho.
Ruth lived a fulfilling life including her days in show business, in the '50s, performing her dance routines across the country. She loved her Cherokee heritage and is survived by many Native American friends she met at pow wows and events. As an ordained minister in the '70s she had a radio program called The Gospel Truth. She loved spreading encouragement through the words of the Lord, Jesus Christ.
Ruth moved into Nursing as a med nurse until the end of her career. In her retirement years she loved the great outdoors and spent many years fishing, hunting, and gathering mushrooms with her late husband, Robert Hinch. Her friends and family who survive will forever remember her spunk and reminisce over the many stories sure to bring smiles to their faces.
She will be missed dearly by her brother, Craig Marlett and wife, Ruth; children, Craig Cohen and wife, Suzzette, Gary Cleveland, and Carol Horrocks; and many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
A service honoring her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Eagle Point National Cemetery. Interment beside her beloved husband, Robert Hinch will follow.
