Dale Watson, 85, passed away December 2, 2016 in Medford, Ore. Dale was born March 8, 1931 in Dericks, Ark. to Nealey and Lola Cox Watson. In 1939 the family moved to Blythe, Calif., then to Klamath Falls in 1941.
Dale married Alice Kerr in 1948 and later married Earleen Geisler in 1971; both preceded him in death. He worked for a mill in Klamath Falls until moving to Medford in 1959. He worked in the Butte Falls area for the U.S. Forest Service and then at the GM Sawmill before retiring in the late 1990s. Dale moved to Medford after his retirement in 2006. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Medford.
Dale is survived by his daughters, Virginia Jones of Butte Falls, Ore. and Patricia of Gold Hill, Ore.; step-son, Larry “ Cowboy” Northey of Burns, Ore.; his companion, Myrtle Patrick of Medford, Ore; brother, Doyle Watson of Salem, Ore.; granddaughter Kimberly Ulm; and great-grandsons, Lane and Brent Thompson. he was preceded in death by his wives, one brother, and three sisters.
A service of tribute and love will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Eternal Hills Chapel. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills. Klamath Tribute Center is in charge of the arrangements.
